Character Creator Translation Patch

I'm sure PSO2 will get a US version some time this century. Meanwhile there is a patch and this is the forum where you can discuss it and get help with issues.

Character Creator Translation Patch

Postby Agrajag » Sat Apr 07, 2012 9:19 am

Unofficial translation patch:
Image

Generally, aside from the tutorials and terms of use, anything I know how to change has been translated.

Available as follows:
Individual files: A, B, C. Right click, save as. Make sure B and C don't have .txt at the end (Firefox believes they're text files for some reason).
Full archive: here.

These should not affect anything outside of the text, but as always, back up your original files.

EDIT 4/9/2012, 0000 EST: Fixed a few errors ("Vantage"->Bandage, "Small cap(?)"->Ordinary Cap), cleaned up post contents.
EDIT 4/9/2012, 1945 EST: Short Mash->Short Mop Top, Medium Mash->Medium Mop Top.
EDIT 4/9/2012, 2030 EST: Missed a couple option menu options (whooops). Still can't find the "Exit" dialog (when you click the X on the window), the button display types, or the "Share hair color" option for eyebrows in the character creator.

Which program you used to translate the game? You can release the link?

Two more files to download: A, B.

Everything should be translated now except the Terms of Use (not touching that one), the Options menu, and the descriptions of the character creation choices. Also, if you downloaded the other file prior to 4/7/2012 @ 7:48 EST (run the time zone calculations yourself), redownload it because it's been updated for clarity and accuracy.
