PSO2 final: English Patch

I'm sure PSO2 will get a US version some time this century. Meanwhile there is a patch and this is the forum where you can discuss it and get help with issues.

Updated the main patch and JP enemy/E-trial files for the Mining Base Defense quest (that... err... is tonight, right?) and next week's story quest (guess who likes updating translations on Christmas? yeah, not us).

Also got some extra UI stuff (pre-login information, formerly untranslated options menu stuff) from AIDA's group, and a bunch of potential names (thanks to Lostbob117/Rappy for compiling them).

Minor update to fix a few missing things. AIDA got the defense quest text done, and the chronicle menu has been started, but not much was done in it.

Those untranslated skills got fixed, too. If someone had bothered reporting it, it wouldn't have taken almost 3 months to get done.

First patch of the new year!

Calling this a "preliminary" update, but all the relevant parts may already be done. AIDA's group sent in a bunch of previously-missing navigator chatter and event tablet names, too.

Alright, bunch of updated stuff. AIDA got the missing crafting menu stuff, Espio got all the seasonal COs, hopefully we're ready for the update.

Fun fact: Utterly Profound is going to be making a return this year. There's a bingo order that wants a level 70 Elder, and one that wants Raging Dark Arms cleared.

(Also, the bird Falz is a force. Its Hunar equivalent uses a Talis with Zonde and Nabarta.)

(Also also, the next wave of techs is "Il" (that's i-L). Ilbarta, Ilfoie, etc.)

Preliminary's up. I know there's a couple COs that aren't translated yet, but I'm not sure if they're out yet.

Sega keeps threatening us with Mirage Escape Advance. I don't think they have the guts to go through with it.

(The new level curve is much nicer. The old level 45-46 is roughly equivalent to 51-52 now, although 64-65 is pretty close to where it was before.)

All the files should be generally up to date. Here's hoping for another 2 months of not having to update the translation.

(Even though I know it won't end up that way.)

The Quarry AQ description is no longer in Lillipan. This is a sad day for giant rabbits everywhere.

Largely a maintenance update. They changed a few files (including one in the JP actor/e-trial set), but not a huge amount of new text besides clothing/body paint/etc (which has always been spotty).

Fun fact: We have an internal area name for the next planet. It's "CastleTown". Add that with the Orakio emergency trials, and you get... not a lot of explanation for why there's an item affix named "Elephant Fever".

They updated the game to add one new block description.

It didn't get translated.

(Patch has been updated to run on current game version. If it gives you a 404, check back in an hour or so.)

Initial release. Bingo orders, names, and various other things are done. Various other chunks are not, but will be tomorrow.

The new Falz is "Dark Falz Loser" (kanji is for "loser" or "vanquished" or "defeated", katakana is ruusaa). Ponder this as you play.

We're borrowing the SEA name for "With Wind and Rain" for the second version. It's now "In the Driving Rain 2". Not a mistake.
