A minor glimpse into the release client

I'm sure PSO2 will get a US version some time this century. Meanwhile there is a patch and this is the forum where you can discuss it and get help with issues.

I wonder how they're going to write off the red weapons when there's no sign of Rico/Flowen at all in this game.

Gettemhart and Melphonsina are the only characters with names even close to being long enough to monogram all the weapons.

Want to hear the Darker Nest music? Use LINK REMOVED (it doesn't work any more) and go to the floating continent.

(It also has the Arks Ship Wreckage music over forest, and the combat theme's the boss intro music there, so beware).

Pre-update brought a few fun strings.

New emergency trials: fortress assault, turret defense.
New areas: Dragon Sanctuary, "Lillipa 3".
New planet: Unknown name (area is "Coast"). Has a boss arena being worked on, but no idea how it'll be (doesn't even have a debug warp-to command).
New enemies: DpFishArmFree (maybe a lone Falz Arm for the actual Darker Nest field? there's still evidence of such an area), BirdSoldier, DragonChariot, DragonChariotVanguard, DragonChariotRearguard, DragonSummoner, DragonSummonerIllusion, DragonFlyRaptor (DragonRaptor was Digg/Deeg, so... FLY AND BE FREE DIGG?), DragonHammerA. The tournament brings enemy versions of Huey and "KK" (probably Claris Claes, guess we chose the wrong consonant there).
Customized emergency quest messages per planet/area(!).
"DifficultQuest". No idea what it'll be, but it's on area 2000.

Large icons. Of note, GUARDIANS Uniform, Heretic Lady (as in, female version of Heretic Lord/Gettemhart's outfit), and a room ticket that looks a bit reminiscent of the Gal Da Val areas in PSO... and a lollipop.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, another enemy: "Cougar". Its filename is enemy/en_clb01_bb_cougar_a.ice. Two things to notice there.
"clb01": First collaborative enemy.
"bb": Border Break?
With that in mind, my initial guess is that our "collaborative boss" will be this. Potentially also available in red or green or brown? Not too familiar with Border Break, and I can't say how it works (file's not present yet).

(Also, Espio pointed out that the Gal Da Val thing is on a different ID group from the normal scenery passes, so it may be a new thing?)

EDIT again: Vita base stats, Vita modified stats. Only really relevant parts are the 1-30 exp values (substantially reduced). Also from the Vita beta, the Chrome Dragon rare version is named "Haze Draal". Knew both of those for a while, but forgot to post them.

Hey guys! Guess what!

The next two weapon types are "Katana" and "CompoundBow". You heard it here first.

(Also, the next batch of large icons is here, and the icon sheet is here.)

EDIT: The following skills have been added to the skill lists: FuryStanceCombo (HU), KillingBonus (RA?), PhotonFlareAfterBurst (FO), PPSlayer (FI?), PerfectKeeper (GU?), TerritoryBurstAdvance (TE). Each class also has a "RareBoost" for each weapon they can use, and a Rare10(classname) and Rare11(classname).

Rather unexpected bit of datamining.

Funny to see the Vita still uses the messed up Lv51+ stats that were recently fixed for PC.

Last Prepatch phase was today, right? Anything new worth mentioning?

Haven't gotten the chance to go through the whole thing, but here's the final batch of large icons. Don't ask why Elder's there again, I really don't know.

Generally, nothing too exciting. The next 3 advance quests are in (they take b/c/a, so once the third batch is out, you'll be able to loop through a single planet or across the three), White Day seems dragonland-y (Xie's orders all want stuff there), they didn't name the new enemies yet besides Chrome/Haze/Hadred, you'll be able to get Kuuna's card, the female Heretic Lord is named "Heretic Queen", here is the full list of changed outfit names (and the new accessories/hair/etc), they're introducing an "All Skill Tree Reset Pass" (dunno the specifics)...

EDIT: Also, an anecdote:
