A minor glimpse into the release client

I'm sure PSO2 will get a US version some time this century. Meanwhile there is a patch and this is the forum where you can discuss it and get help with issues.

Nothin much this time. Two new "PA" enemies: "PAFly" and "PAWpn".

Still not a clue what these might be.

Also not taking credit for this one but there's a "Job10 - Poka". This is presumably gonna end up being the PVP class.

Looks like they added "c0" type files.

First one found : c0_mt (mother ?)
Now we have :
c1_of (ophiel ?)
c2_ar (ardem ?)
c3_f ( phaleg ? there are some "heat wave" or "kick" attacks for this one so, who know)

Maybe it is just a change for "characters" enemies like Phaleg or Kohri (even though there are some files proving char25 existence) and they started back with cX with X being a number.

Also is "ptm_base" already in the game or is it a new phantom coming soon ?

I'm a little late to this but yeah, it does seem like they're using a new naming convention for character enemies. I can confirm that F is Phaleg as it uses enemy/en_char20_flg_eff.ice

c0_mt was in the client for a good while (think I posted it a few pages back?). Didn't peg that the mt coulda stood for Mother.

A bunch of new enemies!

As pointed out on PSOW, there's a PhantomShipEx whish suggests an upgraded Yamato raid is in the works.

Beyond that, is anyone's guess. It follows no naming scheme I've seen before:

So yeah, not got a clue who these guys are yet. They seem to be using our weapons though if Sw is Sword and Ar is Assault Rifle and Bo is boots.

Aside that they seem to be in categories; Sk, Go, Wo and Or. Mi might be a category or it might just be Min and Cats is a boss judging by the presence of a test version of it.

The "b1" part (and the fact it references weapons) makes me wonder if these might just be related to Battle Mode in some capacity. Who knows.

To repost an idea from Agra... total shot in the dark but

Maybe Sk = Skeleton, Go = Goblin, Or = Orc... We going to western fantasy planet maybe.

Agra's an edgelord tho so might be wishful thinking on his part (and I'll be honest I wouldnt mind beatin up a bunch of bones)

You know it never occured to me to look into the EXP values with a cap raise coming up...

Here are the exp TNL values according to the most recent .lev files anyway:

74-75 - 1,967,000
75-76 - 6,217,000
76-77 - 8,342,000
77-78 - 9,680,700
78-79 - 9,814,500*
79-80 - 9,860,000*

That is quite a wierd jump if this turns out to be true.

*Update: They changed the file this patch actually breaking the formatter I was using. All I can say is the exp values above for 75-78 are the same but the other two have changed. It's unknown what values they've change to, however and theres far too many numbers to sift through at this hour to find em.

Oh right I never actually posted my findings in the AI files here.. I don't know why. Ar is definitely Archer, Bo is seeming "Bomber".

WoF may be a wolf enemy, but not sure. It has biting attacks.

Anyway the last update added quite a few new enemies, it also updated some so if you notice some enemies were already mentioned that's why.

If we continue to assume the new enemies are going to be fantasy based we can make some guesses as to what some of these might be.

B1Wrg may be a Warg (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warg)

B1Slm may be a slime enemy... mildly befitting the potential Dragon Quest aesthetic as guessed by one commenter on Bumped.

B1Gol and pals may be golems and B1Wra and friends may be Wraiths

"Golems" have n, h and b variants.
"Wraiths" have f, l and d variants.
I have no idea what those letters could signify.

FD1DhuU may not be related to these enemies... the filename "en_dp_human_neo.ice" could indicate it being either a reskin of or an upgraded Dark Falz Hunar (Falz Hunar's filename was dp_human). Not sure what's going on there but I like Hunar so I'm interested to see what this turns out to be if they see it through.
