Character creator/benchmark test

I'm sure PSO2 will get a US version some time this century. Meanwhile there is a patch and this is the forum where you can discuss it and get help with issues.

Maybe, but it's more clearly from the old PS series, where Zan was a series of techs that attacked enemies by creating a localized vacuum around them.

Also: That's pretty sweet, Agra! I'll have to try it out later.

Most likely the old PS series.

There's no reason it can't be both (most obviously, the original series could have named it after that).

As an aside, noticed a helpful setting in the config file (My Documents\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2\user_benchmark.pso2):
VirtualFullScreen = false
Set it to true to get alpha 2-styled fake fullscreen mode.

Think I meant to say "more directly from old PS games" yeah.

Also, where does that parameter go in the file? Because it's not showing up in mine, and I'm afraid to just type it in anywhere.

In "Windows".
Mine right now happens to be:
Windows = {
FullScreen = false,
Height = 720,
Height3d = 480, (NOTE: wtf)
VirtualFullScreen = false,
Width3d = 640,
Width = 1280,
},

If it's also not obvious, Fullscreen has to be set to false.

FullScreen = false
VirtualFullScreen = true

Edit:

Also custom resolutions are possible.

Edit the same file. Good to set your resolution to a nonstandard monitor or a facking huge one. (Can't get this to work with Multi-Monitor sadly.)

I feel like being a slowpoke asking, but what are the .hca files? Well, I know what they are, they're the SFX. But they have no header inside of them.
On a side note, I was trying to find the song in the 2nd part of the test when they're in the forest but couldn't find it. The only .cpk files I saw only contained the .hca files unless I overlooked one.

EDIT: I should change that. They do have a header, just not one with any readability.

Has anyone tried to run the demo under WINE to see if it would work yet?
