Minecraft Driver Problem

Postby xKasuka1 » Sun Mar 25, 2012 2:28 am

Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------

Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Any help? This is my driver details:
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 (Microsoft Corporation)
Chip Type: GeForce FX 5500
DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC
Memory Size: 128 MB
blah..
I tried to update my driver, but...
"Cannot Continue the Hardware Update Wizard"
"The wizard could not find a better match for your hardware than the software you currenty have installed."
I'm scared that could mean my computer won't do any better. Does anyone have any solution or link to some better driver or something like that?

A computer can't play Minecraft.

Why do I find that hilarious?

The only thing you really need to update is your computer lol

Using the OS's wizard instead of just going to nvidia's site for drivers ahahahaha. Also your card is old as hell.

Edit: Oh, and I have a feeling the minecraft forums would be more willing to help than here.

You need more RAM and possibly a better CPU.
Windows 95 is better than Windows 7, because 95 is a higher version number than 7.
