EGS PSU classes

Postby Daybreak Awaits » Mon Mar 12, 2012 2:59 am

I have a few questions if we can edit a couple classes....
Masterforce: I think (to be fair) their should be a Bow included since each master class has four weapons
Acromaster(not a real class): Ive always wanted this to be the fallowing weapons
- TCSM
- Wand
- Slicer
- RCSM
of course all S-Rank with stats of both mixed together
Please let me know if this would be a good idea for EGS thanks ;D

Probably only gonna be four classes: fightan, shootan, nukin, and Acrotecher.

Or something along those lines.

Yeah.

EGS isn't going to be anything like the PSU you know. Classes will most likely be considerably simplified for the sake of balance.

One class will focus on melee, another on range, and a third on techs. And then there may be a fourth that would focus on support and be a general hybrid. At least that's what I'd imagine.

Is EGS gonna have the same weapons? Or is it gonna have different stats and PA's?
- It's True

Everything is going to look the same, it will just have different stats and/or behave differently.

I don't see it a good idea. I sincerelly prefier the official classes than playing a PSU with only 4 classes. I think we're coming back to PSO or older games, and there is not the point in PSU.

But... if the staff will simplify to 4 classes, What's the problem with all the advanced classes? I don't know why of this.

I only wait that i play PSU real and not a custom online PSU...

We do not want many classes because we cannot balance many classes. And frankly nobody can. It's much better to go for a more strategic gameplay, where who you play with actually matters to the good completion of the mission. Few people will be able to be fast at soloing all missions. If they are, they'll need a different class and gear depending on what mission they run. Parties will have it easier, but again a good strategy will be a much more important difference than anything else. Call it "balance through differentiation" if you want. Then we'll just need to make sure there's about the same amount of missions where each class is good at it, and that's where the TA leaderboards will be useful.
