The Vahras in this picture are Ice-contaminated. As you might or might not remember (I didn't, so don't worry if you didn't either), no Vahras had ever been used with an ice element in PSU history.

In all other enemy cases, giving an enemy an invalid element would cause its appearance to go weird (disappear or untextured). Ice Vahra is special because it has its complete texture. That might suggest it was intended that the Ice Vahra would have been used at some point but never was (besides the fact that Parum has no Ice-contamination missions as well).

A lot of what LightDark does is a more haphazard approach to what I try to do, so no. The ice Vahras were a random thing I saw when I was looking through the .exe (they're all defined there), but the others...

(To be able to legitimately fight monsters in the field lobbies would require either disabling the "no fighting in lobbies" code in the .exe, or copying the map somewhere in an area that monsters can actually be fought--note that this is how Sega handled things like the Vio Tonga battle in Absolute Zero.)

Like what Agra said, none of what I do are actually things that will appear in his offline project. They are things that exist in the current offline client and with the modified files he released so far that I happened to stumble by chance and thought were interesting to take pictures of.

Although Agra shares a lot of his knowledge with me, I am no more informed as the rest of you who are interested on his project. And I'm sure most of you are probably a bit impatient on things that are to come. So creativity takes hold and I try out new stuff.

There are three reasons I take pictures and share them. The first is because I'm sure most of you are not truly concerned about what Agra says about the backends of the game; it's interesting information for me and others who enjoy learning the details about the game but the various aspects are information that mean nothing to the average player. As such, I figured most of you would rather see screenshots of the game in action rather than wait out on trying to figure out when Agra is going to get his content released (which I would imagine would not be for a good while).

The second reason is so that it creates a vivid way of showcasing hypothetical situations - "what if...?" scnearios essentially. For example, what if it were possible for the De Ragan to be fought in the Casino Voloyal? What if it were possible to visit Paracabana Coast once again? What if it became possible to have 6 player teams? There are so many areas with potential - some may work in our favor and some may not. In the end, the main goal behind both the Online-to-Offline PSU Project and EGS is so that the PSU experience can be brought back but one that will be a brand new experience for everyone - both old and new players alike.

The final reason is really to show that PSU has not been forgotten. Agra is working hard on the project and I want people to be able to appreciate the work he has done. You already have lobby actions, you already have 3 missions from online that can be played fully, and you already have 3 missions that involve vehicles that were imported from episode 1. Even if Agra doesn't have much to give you these days, you can be sure that the final product will be something fun and exciting.

"To show as many hearts as possible" is the theme for the Rappy Amure. PSO players would also know the monster better as the Love Rappy.


I haven't figured out how to get seasonal lobbies going unfortunately, so I wasn't able to get a picture with all of the cool decorations and stuff. Oh well.
